Building. This is what Hong Kong is good at. This road amazes me every time I walk past it, which is more or less every day. Faced with the dilemma of building a road through a residential area, Hong Kong planners simply elevated the road, and curved it between the buildings. At some points it gets to within ten feet of a sixth story window, so you'd like to hope that the residents got some sort of compensation for it. I personally suspect that they didn't. If I ever stop being amazed at this sort of thing, then I've been here too long.
